What to expect

Visiting a new place is always accompanied by plenty of questions.  You have many concerns, and this page is to help address some of those concerns and hopefully answer some questions you may have.  If you have additional questions or concerns, please contact us and we will do everything we can to help.

What are services like?

Our Sunday service begins at 10:30 - BUT - we have an informal time of chatting over coffee and doughnuts around 10:15.

A typical service will include a time of singing and praise to God accompanied with Scripture and prayer.  After that, we preach a biblical message that is typically 30-40 minutes in length.  Every Sunday, we conclude by taking communion together as a time of reflection and worship.

where do I go?

Our address is 302 W. Cedar Bayou-Lynchburg Rd in Baytown.  We meet in the gymnasium on the property.  Just come in the entrance and you'll find some friendly faces ready to welcome you with a smile and a gift.

Come on in and join us for coffee, doughnuts, and a family ready to love you and support you as we navigate life together!

what do people wear?

As you can see, there is no "dress code"!  People will be wearing a mixture of styles, to include extremely relaxed.
Please just come as you are.

What about my kids?

We think it's good for families to all worship together, so we encourage everyone to stay together for our music and worship on Sunday mornings.  When our sermon begins, children are walked over to our "Grace House" for children's church.

Our children's ministry focuses on the goodness and truth of God at age appropriate levels and is always staffed with multiple trained volunteers.

For those with infants, we also provide a nursery staffed with multiple trained helpers.
